After the devastation of Hurricane Helene this system is moving northwestward as a tropical storm. Helene is producing heavy rain and flash floods throughout the region. The gust of winds is more than 50mph across the region knocking down trees and causing billion of people to lose power across the Carolines. Tornado threats has ended, and the winds will diminish by tonight. Once this system is the Midwest it will circumvent to the east side that means Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York will get the remnants of the storm. Our hearts go out to people who were in the path of the storm, and hope that these people made out ok.
